Peter Lapsley was born in 1976 and is from the island of Bermuda. He received his BA from St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia Canada in 1998.
Peter is a New York based sculptor who works with a variety of mediums including, metal, plaster, resin, fabrics and found objects.
He is also the recipient of a number of grants and scholarships from various organizations and companies in Bermuda and the U.S., including the 2007 Chaim Gross sculpture award and a nomination for the 2007/2008 Dedalus Foundation M.F.A Fellowship Grant.
